Institute of Construction Specialists
We aim to:

provide long overdue recognition of the skills and knowledge required to manage or operate a specialist construction company

focus on the training and accreditation of individual managers, directors, administrative and supervisory staff
-
set standards and award professional qualifications through Associate(AIOCS), Graduate(GIOCS) and Fellow(FIOCS) grades
-
operate a mandatory Code of Professional Conduct

ensure members of all grades remain up-to-date and expand their knowledge base with annual Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

provide each member with a personal copy of the joint IOCS/CCS Newsletter, related information and other materials
-
hold examinations for entry to Associate and Member Grades
NOTE: A specialist construction company is defined as any company or firm engaged in one or more types of specialist building, civil engineering, building service or other construction work on a supply and fix basis.
