Mark Standley
MARK STANDLEY MSc teaches all courses at the Aldershot venue. He started his career in the construction industry working as a mechanical and electrical quantity surveyor. After gaining much experience working for major contractors and also working within a busy contract claims department, he also gained experience working as a PQS, setting cost plan budgets and analysing contractors accounts. He moved into consultantcy in 1988.
Joining Maitland QS in 1992, he was appointed director in 1996. He is now jointly responsible for the overall success and expansion of the business and continues to work on matters of dispute resolution and claims recovery. In 2002 he became an accredited Mediator.
Andrew Redfern
ANDREW REDFERN Bsc (Hons)
Andrew teaches courses at the Wombourne venue and at individual company premises where requested. He has worked as a Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager for and on behalf of Specialist Contractors for 17 years for companies including Andover Controls, TAC and Tyco/ADT. In 2002 Andrew created Redfern Contract Consultants with a vision to support and assist Specialist Contractors by providing Commercial and Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Planning and Dispute Avoidance expertise. Andrew has had hands on experience in many specialist contracting sectors including BMS, Fire and Security, Asbestos removal, Audio & Visual, Roofing, Flooring and Electrical Installation.
